If Pet is to be sold with “Limited” registration,  any offspring of this Pet CANNOT and WILL NOT be registered with AKC.  Any cross registry with any other canine registry  is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.     

 

As part of the Purchase Agreement/One Year Guarantee Contract of the above mentioned Pet, the Buyer understands and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

     *Buyer agrees that the Pet is in visibly good health, but is required to take the Pet to a licensed vet of their choice (at Buyer’s expense)  for a health check  within  72 hours (3 days) of possession of Pet.  If a health exam is not performed by the end of the 3rd day of custody, this Health Guarantee will be deemed NULL AND VOID after the 72 hour period. 

 

     *If a health issue is found within this 72 hour period and written documentation presented to  Breeder within this 72 hour period, price of puppy would be fully refunded provided dog and all paperwork are returned.  (This does not include findings of fleas, worms, Coccidia, Giardia, or any other parasite or disease that are common in dogs and puppies.)

 

* Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose Pet with a life threatening genetic problem within      one year, it may be returned with all original paperwork, AKC registration and a written statement from the vet explaining the life-threatening findings.   The following procedure MUST be followed:

  ~Notify Breeder by phone within 24 hours of findings of vet.

~Submit to Breeder written evaluation and findings of vet on company letterhead                      within one (1) week by certified mail.

~Any evaluations or recourse deemed necessary by the Buyer and/or vet and administered by the vet are solely Buyer’s responsibility.

  ~ Breeder will be responsible only for the replacement of Pet of equal value. 

  ~Replacement of puppy concludes ALL Guarantees (continued on next page).

 

(Continued) If the Pet should die from a genetic problem within one year from date of birth, the Buyer must have an autopsy performed.  The autopsy results MUST state that the cause of death is directly related to a genetic defect.  Official results must be given to the Breeder immediatley upon the date of death. 

 

      *Said Pet will be replaced with a pup of equal value if any findings of congenital disease would take the life of the dog within one year from date of birth.  Replacement Pet is solely the Breeder’s discretion and only when a puppy is available; there is no choice of replacement based on the Buyer’s preference.  YEARLY PHISICALS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.  The Pet shall not be found to be  overweight, in ill or poor health due to owner negligence nor used for breeding purposes within the year in order for this Guarantee to be in effect.  No cash refunds after the initial 72 hours of possession will be given. 

 

*Buyer agrees that the Pet will for no reason be leased, traded, sold or loaned to anyone        without offering the Pet back to the Breeder.  In the event the Breeder cannot accept the Pet, permission will be given by the Breeder for Buyer to screen candidates for a suitable home.

 

*Lepto should NOT be given with any vaccination prior to 6 months. If Lepto is given after 6 months of age, I recommend the Fort Dodge Brand -- This covers all four strains of Lepto, should you choose this vaccine after 6 months of age.  (There have been many documented deaths due to this vaccination that so often is included in “routine puppy vaccines”.)  In the event your puppy does receive Lepto prior to 6 months, routine  puppy vaccinations are given more frequent than 3 weeks apart, vaccines are given more frequently than annually, (once puppy series is completed usually after 16 weeks of age) this  Guarantee is voided.  This stipulation is given due to the fact this can strongly affect the immune system of your dog.

If at any time during the life of your pet you might have questions or comments, please feel free and comfortable enough to call on me; I will be happy to offer any advice on the matter (provided I am familiar with the situation).  As your Breeder, I am here for the life of your pet and will be of assistance to you if you need me at any time.
